Her plants can sometimes be used for medicinal purposes, but not as well as the medicine the providers give them.

Laid Out in Lavender

Laid Out in Lavender is a series in development about Rue, and afterlife for people who's deaths are self-inflicted in any way whatsoever. Because members appearingly do not value their lives, they are sent to the pseudo-purgatory. When one is about to die, nature takes a "snapshot" of their body at the time. If they do end up dying, this is the body they end up living in in Rue. Otherwise, a soulless body is sent down and eventually rots. In Rue, although suicide is a common cause of death, it is considered taboo or inappropriate to talk about. Therefore, those who took their own lives on purpose often lie about their cause of death.
